| The Storyteller |
Introducing Dominic Kelly, The Storyteller
"Fantastic...the children were spellbound. They're still talking about it now, weeks after your visit." Yealand CE Primary School, Lancashire
English legends... worldwide folk tales... ancient myths & urban myths... hair-raising ghost stories... forgotten histories brought back to vivid life...
Dominic Kelly enthrals and enchants audiences of all ages with performances that combine comedy, wonder and suspense. Dominic grew up among the Lake District hills, and the magic of fells and woods, dales and rivers, still seeps from his stories. He also has a particular interest in stories from Ireland, and in tales that connect people to the landscape and the natural world.
Dominic used storytelling extensively as a teacher and artist in the 1990s, and has since worked as a professional storyteller. He tells tales in schools, museums and libraries, at festivals and heritage events, and in public parks and gardens. He also offers a range of workshops, and is available for single performances, full days and longer-term projects and residences.
